After spending 8 years in the middle school classroom setting, Melissa Corley is now a transaction coordinator. As things with public education began to change, Melissa saw the way her husband Gary took care of his real estate clients and witnessed the happiness that he felt working in real estate. Her motto is based on a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson. It goes, “To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the beauty in others; to leave the world a bit better... and to know that one life has breathed easier because you lived here. This is to have succeeded.” Melissa was raised in the Kansas City area, and currently lives in Kearney. Melissa is married, has one bonus daughter, four cats, and a lab mix puppy. Transitioning from helping and teaching middle schoolers to helping and teaching realtors brings Melissa joy and sticks within her motto of winning the respect of intelligent people and to help realtors breathe easier because she was there to assist and teach them.
